LAURA ALVARADO

Laura’s journey in the fitness industry started when she became a personal trainer. Though she loved working with clients on a one-on-one basis, she quickly realized this business model had its limitations. She had to trade her time for money. Plus, she could only have an impact on a small number of clients.

Laura changed her business model, purchasing her first studio in the process. After a lot of tinkering, she built the studio into a successful seven-figure business. Since then, she has opened one other location, which is achieving a similar level of success.

After having her first child, Laura realized she needed to find a way to spend less time working on-location inside her business. She needed to become an absentee owner. Laura developed the models and frameworks that allowed her to spend 10 hours per week working from home on her business. Best of all, she only needed to visit the locations once per quarter.

Laura had an amazingly successful business. But she also found herself meeting a lot of people who asked her how she did it. The desire to help these people lead to the formation of Gym Lead Converter, marking Laura’s full transition into coaching.

RJ PADUA

RJ’s initial goal was to become a gym teacher. However, after a major car accident left his father with several terrible injuries, RJ’s focus began to change. He saw the struggle and pain his father went through in his rehab every day, which led to RJ switching his major to athletic therapy.

After graduating, RJ started working with a big box gym in 2005. His focus on using athletic therapy to help people with performance issues led to him developing a following inside the gym. Ultimately, he became bigger than the big box gym and decided to strike out on his own.

RJ formed No Limit Training, with a focus on working with athletes to enhance their performance. However, this model had a problem. When the athletes RJ worked with went away to play with their teams for the season, he was left with no clients for months at a time. RJ realized he needed to change his model to focus on everyday athletes.

After working inside a franchise for a couple of years, RJ started another business – Fit Club.

Over the past 15 years, RJ estimates that he’d worked with about 800 clients.

A husband and father of two, RJ operates two locations with over 100 virtual members. He has grinded and lived the 7 figure dream and now lives and owns his business on his own terms - helping other coaches achieve similar results.similar results.

HANNAH WYDEVEN

Hannah has been in the fitness industry since 2009 and opened her first gym in 2014. She helps people develop their strength and conditioning, with a primary focus on helping people in marginalized communities. This means offering high-quality and rigorous training for people who don’t feel like they fit in at regular gyms.

Hannah specializes in working with people who don’t necessarily want to be highlighted for being the “perfect athlete.” Instead, she helps people achieve their personal goals rather than placing all the focus on achieving some sort of “ideal” outcome.

Her expertise lies in building communities, both through her services and the quality content she shares with prospects and clients. She’s an expert at creating content which speaks to specific niches, with her own results demonstrating just how effective she is. Currently, her content gives her a lead-to-trial ratio of 80%. And the quality her gym offers means she has a trial-to-conversion ratio of 80% too.

What does that mean?

Out of every 10 prospects who have a trial with Hannah, eight become long term clients.

As one of our implementation coaches, Hannah helps our clients create quality content. Beyond that, she helps them build processes inside their businesses so they can discover their niche and target their content appropriately.

TODD SELVA

Todd has over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, starting with his martial arts background. A Muay Thai and Brazilian Jujitsu practitioner, Todd competed as a professional MMA fighter for five years.

Unfortunately, a major spinal injury forced him to hang up the gloves. But while he was in physical therapy, Todd turned his attention to helping others in any way that only he can. He founded MVP Strength in Massachusetts, where he offers personal training to his clients.

Todd began working with Laura as a client before he became one of our coaches. Using the techniques he now teaches, Todd was able to build a successful business, opening up his own gym and transitioning to remote ownership in the process.

Today, he continues to operate his gym while coaching other gym owners on how they can best use Laura’s frameworks and programs.

REBECCA

Rebecca's career started in Human Resources but, after 20 plus years in the field Rebecca decided to live out her dream. She had always wanted to open a business and health has always been a core value. So, after getting bored of human resources she decided to go for it and open her women's only personalized group fitness gym in Idaho. This place would have everything she needed along with child care!

As a younger adult Rebecca competed in fitness competitions, pageants and races. At one point she had a Yoga membership, an Orangetheory membership, Anytime Fitness membership as well as a Personal Trainer. It was expensive to have all of these memberships but she needed them all for the different types of training she was doing. The hardest thing for her was passing her son Reid off to her husband Richard for each workout. Then, she would get home and Richard would pass Reid back so that he could get his workout in too. Rebecca needed a gym that offered child care and all class types she needed under one roof. Everything she had was just not cutting it. It became too stressful and Rebecca came to a cross road.... Would she give up? NO! So, Rebecca began to dream.

In 2016 Rebecca and her husband Richard opened EnVie Fitness. A place where women come to get their "Me Time". A place that takes all of the thinking out of the workout, a place with a program that makes sense for women and most importantly childcare!

Rebecca considers herself an expert in building content, community and retention. She does this in many ways but, most importantly, she leads with a servant heart. She expects that her coaches will do the same. She believes everyone in class is important and that the workout should be made to be modified up or down for any ability. She also believes each person in class deserves individualized attention; she makes sure the culture is fun, relaxed and drama free (which is a huge undertaking as an all women's gym).

Rebecca found the Accelerator team in 2021 taking her business to high ticket sales, paying herself, and finally to making a profit! So far she has given up 3 classes and is working on her business at home. She has big goals and consistently achieves them by following the programs, processes and procedures here within this group

As one of our implementation coaches, Rebecca helps our clients create quality content that will bring in $$$$. Beyond that, she helps them discover what it is they need to take their business to the next level.

JODI

Jodi has always had a HUGE love of research & education. Originally she went to the University of Illinois (UIUC) to get her masters in sports nutrition/biochemistry. However, after serving as a proud member of the U.S. Military, in the Operation Iraqi Freedom War, her passion changed to education, and she earned her master of education degree (M.Ed.) in global education.

She and her husband moved to Costa Rica in 2006 and started, owned, and operated a preschool through high school, and she taught high school English language arts & literature. She also started and coached the first high school girls’ basketball team in Costa Rica.

She currently resides in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, with her husband of over 21 years and their two young boys. Since 2015, she has successfully run 3 fitness studios in South Florida and she does it now remotely from Costa Rica.

Jodi also has a passion for systems and techy stuff. If she doesn’t know it or understand it, she will figure it out. She enjoys helping other business owners dominate systems and implement techniques to streamline their business.

In her freetime, she loves playing basketball, hiking, tumbling, traveling, jiu jit su, as well as blogging and writing about health-related topics in regards to family, pregnancy, children, and discipline on her social media pages and her website.

Jodi hopes to help other business owners understand that VERY small changes can lead to dramatic improvements in business, fitness, health, and happiness.
